What is a Non-Surgical Butt Lift?

Our non-surgical butt lift is performed with Sculptra (Poly L lactic Acid), which is a stimulatory dermal filler that works by stimulating your own collagen to add volume to the buttock area. It is mixed and prepared in the office and it is injected into the precise areas of volume loss to produce a more youthful and contoured appearance of the buttocks. It has been shown to last up to 5 years as compared with hyaluronic acid fillers (Juvéderm and Restylane) that last approximately 9 months to a year.

How is The Procedure Done?

The procedure is done in the office and takes approximately one hour to complete. No incisions are made, and the procedure is very comfortable to have done. It is performed by injecting the Sculptra in the buttocks using a small flexible cannula which avoids having to make multiple injections. The treatment usually takes about 4-6 weeks to show improvement and after that period the client is re-evaluated to see if further treatments are required. It is typical to need a series of injections to get the maximal effect of the treatment. One popular series of treatments requires 2 separate office visits 4-6 weeks apart and involves getting 10 vials of Sculptra injected (5 vials in each butt cheek). Some patients require more vials, and some are satisfied with less, but we can design a specific treatment regimen to fit your specific needs.

How Does The Procedure Work?

Sculptra is a stimulatory dermal filler and is different from the hyaluronidase family of fillers. It is a powerful volumizing agent and it is well accepted by the body. It stimulates collagen production, which is an essential building block in the skin. When injected in an area of the body, it helps creates a more volumized and youthful appearance. This process is how it increases the volume of the buttock in the areas that it is placed.

What is The Recovery From Non-Surgical Butt Augmentation?

You can return to normal activities right after the procedure is completed. There is some swelling to the treated area for a few days. There maybe some slight discomfort from the injection, but it usually minimal. We will recheck you after 6 weeks and determine if further treatment is needed.

What are The Alternatives To The Non-Surgical Butt Lift?

You can choose to have a traditional BBL procedure which requires removing fat from one area of your body and transferring it into your buttocks. This procedure has 7-10 days of downtime and requires and operative procedure. Buttock implants are also an option, but we do not perform those at our clinic. Many patients who undergo buttock implants are not happy with the procedure, due to complications associated with the movement of the implants from their designated position in the buttocks.

How Safe is The Procedure?

The procedure is very safe since in involves injecting the product into the subdermal region of the buttocks and there are very few side effects with the injections. One can develop small subcutaneous nodules, which mostly correct themselves with time. Other than that, the procedure is very safe if done by someone who is familiar using the product.

What is The Cost Of The Non-Surgical Butt Lift?

The cost of this procedure varies with the number of vials of Sculptra that is needed to achieve the desired result. Most patients require at least 20 vials to show improvement. If 20 vials are given the cost would be approximately $10,000. If more vials are needed additional costs will apply.
