What are the strongest “weapons” against cellulite?
Intense insecurity and shame about the appearance of their skin are felt by the vast majority of women who suffer from cellulite. Especially in the hot months of the year when the high temperatures impose clothing choices that leave the arms and thighs uncovered, they try to cover their bodies so as not to be commented on by those around them.
Most of the time, they watch their diet all the time, exercise, drink a lot of fluids, and whatever is recommended by doctors to control cellulite, but the results are not particularly satisfactory. They may maintain a normal weight and build a firm body with these methods, but they do not get the smooth skin they desire.
Cellulite is one of the most common aesthetic problems of women. It has been found that 90% of people suffering from it are women. It is a disorder caused by changes in the structure of the fat cells and connective tissues under the skin, which cause the fat cells to swell. The consequence of this swelling is the compression of the connective tissues and the appearance of orange skin. In these areas, reduced blood and lymph circulation is observed, which leads to the retention of fluids and toxins in the tissues, resulting in the worsening of the phenomenon.
In other women, the uneven distribution of fat appears without applying any force to the skin, while in others some manipulation is required, i.e. pressure or pinching.
This aesthetic problem is more intense in the buttocks, thighs, abdomen, and arms of women mainly. One of the reasons is that fair sex has more fat cells than men, which are located vertically under the skin, pressing with their top on the connective tissue, while in men they are in a horizontal arrangement, which holds the fat better.
The contribution of the layers of fat that women and men have in certain parts of their bodies is also important. Women have three layers of fat on their arms, stomach, buttocks, thighs, and knees, where the problem of cellulite is most intense, while men have only one layer of fat on the whole body.
Another reason why cellulite occurs more often in women than in men is that the female hormone, estrogen, creates fat, causing fat cells to swell, while testosterone, a male hormone, breaks down fat.
Heredity and hormonal profile play an important role in the appearance of cellulite. Estrogen, insulin, noradrenaline, thyroid hormones, and prolactin also contribute. Aging also increases the likelihood of developing cellulite, because over the years the skin loses its elasticity, becomes thinner, and is more likely to sag.
There are also exogenous factors that contribute to the genesis of cellulite. Such are diet, digestive disorders, sedentary lifestyle, smoking, alcohol, stress, and tight clothing.
For its treatment, topical creams containing retinol, caffeine, ginger, tea, and other herbal ingredients are available, but they do not improve blood circulation in the area, to get rid of this unsightly problem. According to the latest data, the most effective is the combination of approved treatments.
LPG Endermologie with its state-of-the-art head stimulates the skin's natural repair and renewal mechanisms and is therefore considered a method that delivers what it promises. The skin regains its smoothness through lipo massage. The mobilization of fat cells helps eliminate accumulated fat and combats the swelling of fat cells, which worsens the appearance of the skin. At the same time, the fibroblasts are also mobilized, producing collagen and elastin, two essential proteins that give the skin elasticity and firmness. It is a 100% natural method that smoothes the skin and tightens and sculpts the skin, in a few sessions.
Mesotherapy is another effective method, which aims to restore low blood circulation locally, due to the ingredients entering the treated area, through an extremely fine needle. Its composition allows the neutralization of hemosiderin, which causes fat cells to swell. The next day, the skin looks tighter and smoother. The results are gradually improving over the next 8 weeks and are maintained for several years, provided maintenance treatments are not skipped.
Even for people who have deep indentations in the skin due to cellulite, which look like scratches, and are most often located in the buttocks or thighs, there is a solution. It is the once-administered Celluerase treatment in which a special tool is inserted under the local fibrosis of the connective tissue and cuts it, releasing the skin, which returns and remains smooth.
