Forehead wrinkles? Plastic and cosmetic surgery take care of it!
Against the inevitable aging process of our face, aesthetic interventions have always proved to be faithful allies for continuing to maintain a young and fresh appearance. In particular, with regard to forehead wrinkles, one of the most requested surgical procedures to eliminate them is the brow lift.
This endoscopic procedure is indicated for the correction of imperfections that characterize the forehead and the eyebrow area.
The operation, performed under local anesthesia with sedation, involves stretching the frontal skin through incisions made near the scalp. In this way the surgeon performs the detachment and repositioning of the skin tissue and muscles of the area.
However, in the last few years, the procedure with the endoscopic technique is preferred for the brow lift. This is an operation that involves 3 or 5 small incisions to insert an endoscopic probe and surgical instruments.
Therefore, a bicoronal access is not performed, but small accesses of maximum one centimeter hidden inside the scalp. However, the technique is preferred in selected cases. It is not in fact indicated in the presence of deep wrinkles and excess skin.
Once the brow lift has been performed and the post-operative recovery times have elapsed, it will be possible to admire a more toned face and a forehead free of imperfections.
